Garner Health is seeking a Data Engineer II to join our Engineering team in New York City, with a strong ownership mindset and a focus on modern data stacks. You will implement data pipelines using Python and SQL in AWS and contribute to data quality, governance, and privacy across systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software/data engineering experience in distributed data processing and data warehousing.
• Expertise in SQL and Python.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and reusable datasets.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow) and data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Familiarity with healthcare or insurance and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines powering Garner Health systems.
• Define and build abstracted reusable datasets for BI, Marketing, and Data Science.
• Design and evangelize a federated data validation framework to monitor data quality.
• Protect user privacy and security through best practices.
