Job summary

Garner Health in New York City seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own data pipelines and datasets across BI, Marketing, and Data Science. You will report to the VP of Engineering and work on a modern data stack using Python and SQL in AWS.

The role requires in-office presence three days per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) in NYC. You will design scalable pipelines, implement data quality and privacy controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance healthcare analytics at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SQL, Python, and data engineering.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data models.
• Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance (healthcare domain).

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines powering the business.
• Define and build reusable data sets for BI, Marketing, and Data Science research.
• Design and evangelize a federated data validation framework to monitor data quality.
• Protect user privacy and security through best practices.
