Garner Health, LLC seeks an execution-focused and visionary Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform Team in New York City, building scalable data infrastructure and AI-native capabilities to power healthcare analytics. You will manage engineers, provide architectural guidance, and drive end-to-end pipelines for internal and external apps, aligning work with Engineering and Product OKRs.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in engineering with focus on Big Data and distributed systems.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams and mentoring high performers.
• Expertise with Hadoop, Spark, EMR.
• Experience with Kafka and RedPanda for streaming.
• Proficiency with Temporal, Apache Iceberg, AWS Glue, Spark, DBT, Soda.
• Strong ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to map business needs to scalable roadmaps.
• Experience in startup environments; healthcare data standards a plus.

• Lead and manage the Data Platform Engineering team, owning end-to-end design and operations of data systems.
• Provide architectural guidance for data modeling, processing, and maintainability.
• Build scalable data abstractions, pipelines, and frameworks for high growth.
• Translate complex requirements into well-scoped architectural pieces.
• Foster an AI-native engineering culture and integrate AI tools to enhance workflows.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Engineering and Product; align with OKRs.
• Mentor and coach team members; conduct design reviews and RCA analyses.
