Job summary

Privia Health seeks a Data Architect to lead the architectural vision for our enterprise data platform, defining how healthcare data is modeled, governed, and integrated across Snowflake using Medallion Architecture.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Analytics Leads, and Product Managers to ensure scalable, secure pipelines built with dbt, Python, and modern cloud infra, while upholding HIPAA compliance and data governance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud data platforms and leading data architecture initiatives.
• Proven ability to design and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data modeling, pipelines, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Define, execute, and govern the overall data architecture roadmap on Snowflake.
• Design and standardize multi-layer data architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Blueprint schemas and integration strategies for heterogeneous healthcare data sources.
• Establish platform-level Snowflake best practices for performance and security.
• Partner with Data Engineers to establish standardized dbt, Python, and orchestration frameworks.
• Drive data governance, HIPAA compliance, and data cataloging standards across the ecosystem.
• Mentor engineers and communicate architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Clinical, and Product teams to translate business requirements into scalable blueprints.
