Job summary

Diverge Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the health, reliability, and architectural direction of our data pipelines and data warehouse. You will work with Dagster, Python, and Snowflake to ensure payer data flows are accurate and timely for analysts and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes independent ownership, collaboration with Finance and Payer Account Management, and mentorship of other engineers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience owning production data pipelines in a healthcare context is required.
• Demonstrated expertise with Dagster for orchestration and Snowflake for data warehousing.
• Strong Python skills and solid SQL knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain payer data pipelines and data warehouse structures.
• Ingest and standardize new member rosters and claims data from payers.
• Make architectural decisions on database design and Snowflake environment.
• Administer Snowflake as infrastructure and manage Git repositories.
• Develop reliable data pipelines with monitoring and alerting.
• Lead a team or project and provide technical mentorship.
