Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team. You will work with large-scale datasets (claims, provider directories) to uncover trends and support data-driven strategies for network optimization.

The role requires strong SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tooling capabilities, plus experience with data governance and visualization. Flexible remote/hybrid options are available, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably within healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments.
• Proven experience with large, complex datasets and in-depth data investigations.
• Strong SQL proficiency (intermediate to advanced) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data processing tools.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude) for analytics, pattern recognition, and automation.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data quality practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex healthcare datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching across sources and define data structures.
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues and support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions.
• Utilize SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and analyze large datasets.
• Contribute to evaluation and adoption of new analytics technologies and governance standards.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and data models to support Quest products.
• Document project work and track tasks in systems such as DevOps.
• Identify improvements to outreach strategies and data processes based on insights.
