Job summary

Arcare’s IT Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare datasets to improve patient outcomes and optimize operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analysis and a passion for using data to drive positive change in healthcare.

The role involves building dashboards, collaborating with clinical and administrative teams, and ensuring data integrity in line with HIPAA and other standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science , Sta tistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required . A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skill , with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean and analyze large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records (EHR), patient management systems , and other healthcare databases.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights to support patient care and operational improvements.
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and trends in healthcare data.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance patient outcomes and optimize resource utilization .
• Provide training and support to staff on data analysis tools and techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.
