Job summary

rockITdata is seeking a Data Analyst to transform diverse data sets into actionable insights, supporting enterprise healthcare modernization initiatives for federal programs. You will work with Program Managers, Data Architects, and government stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting and analytical support that informs executive decisions and performance management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a analytics, information systems, CS, statistics, math, or related field.
3 years of data analysis, business analysis, operational reporting, or performance measurement experience.
Experience presenting data to technical and executive audiences.
Experience supporting enterprise reporting, dashboards, or BI initiatives preferred.
Experience with VA/Federal healthcare organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret operational, financial, technical, and project data.
Develop recurring reports, scorecards, and analytic products to measure performance.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to drive improvement.
Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define reporting needs.
Validate data accuracy across multiple sources.
Support executive briefings with reports, charts, dashboards, and summaries.
Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic planning and decisions.
Document data definitions, methodologies, and business rules.
Partner with data/architecture and BI developers to enhance reporting capabilities.
Recommend process improvements to boost reporting accuracy and efficiency.
