Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team. You will work with large healthcare datasets, including claims and provider networks, to uncover trends and drive data‑driven strategies for network optimization.

You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services, applying SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to deliver actionable insights, improve data quality, and support product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare or data‑intensive environments.
• Experience with large, complex datasets and data investigations.
• Experience supporting product development or analytics‑driven decisions.
• Proficiency in SQL (intermediate to advanced).
• Hands‑on with data platforms like Databricks or Spark.
• Programming knowledge in Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools (Looker or similar).
• Experience with AI tools (Claude or similar) for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex healthcare datasets to identify trends and deliver insights.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching and data structures.
• Lead data investigations to resolve quality issues and support initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services on data solutions.
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and derive insights.
• Evaluate and adopt new analytics technologies.
• Maintain data governance standards for high‑quality, compliant data assets.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and data models for Quest products.
• Document and track project work in systems like DevOps.
• Identify improvements to outreach strategies and data processes.
