Job summary

NeueHealth seeks a detail-oriented Data Analyst to bridge raw data from diverse sources into the Bronze layer of our data lake. You will map, ingest, and normalize data for use by data engineering and analytics teams, leveraging SQL and Scala in a healthcare-focused environment.

You will ensure data quality, document lineage, and build dashboards to monitor data health, while collaborating across teams to maintain accuracy and reliability of data assets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analytics or similar analytics role
• Strong SQL skills and ability to manipulate raw data
• Healthcare data experience strongly preferred
• Experience with large datasets in data lake environments
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT methodologies and best practices
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
• Experience with data quality management and testing frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and passion for data accuracy and traceability
• Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Document data mapping to ingest raw data into the Bronze layer of the data lake
• Tackle complex data mapping challenges with a solution-oriented mindset
• Document data lineage and ingestion logic for transparency and compliance
• Establish and monitor data quality checks within the ingestion process
• Troubleshoot ingestion issues and implement effective solutions
• Implement dashboards to track data health in the Bronze layer
• Foster continuous improvement within data operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
