Job summary

Fortified Health Security, a leader in healthcare cybersecurity, seeks a Solutions Architect to design tailored security solutions for providers, hospitals, and Health Tech organizations. You will support discovery, present technical capabilities, and guide risk-focused conversations to mature clients’ cybersecurity programs.

You will collaborate with sales, lead POV deployments for SIEM/MDR/XDR/IoMT, and stay current on HIPAA/NIST/HITRUST contexts while helping shape pricing and solution design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations, engineering, consulting, technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients ranging from technical practitioners to executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, cybersecurity, or related field preferred; equivalent combo may be considered.
• Experience with MSSP/MDR or security vendor backgrounds is a plus.
• Experience building and implementing cybersecurity programs for healthcare systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and technical challenges.
• Support discovery calls, validate client responses, and identify technical requirements across environments.
• Conduct technical presentations and demos to communicate solution capabilities and value.
• Develop solution offerings aligned with Fortified’s services and client needs.
• Act as trusted advisor, providing cybersecurity guidance and best practices.
• Lead POV deployments for managed security offerings (SIEM, MDR, XDR, IoMT).
• Support advisory opportunities by reviewing Risk Assessments and remediation priorities.
• Lead conversations on cybersecurity, risk management, frameworks, and maturity.
• Support sales through technical scoping and inputs for design/pricing.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, frameworks, and emerging healthcare cybersecurity technologies.
