Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring for a customer care specialist in Texas to support the Health Texas project. You will handle inquiries by phone, IVR, and web chat, providing accurate program information to enrollees, health plans, and providers.

The role requires data entry across several systems, documentation of interactions, and timely escalation of complex issues. On-site work is required with training and reliable internet access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with data entry and typing efficiently.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer care and benefit enrollment services for Health Texas project.
• Answer customer inquiries via telephone, IVR, web chat, and other approved channels.
• Provide accurate information about programs and services to consumers, enrollees, health plans, and providers.
• Track, document, and record customer interactions, inquiries, actions, and transactions.
• Navigate multiple computer systems and perform accurate data entry.
• Fulfill customer requests for materials by mail, email, or electronic delivery.
• Transfer or refer customers to appropriate internal or external entities.
• Resolve routine customer inquiries and issues.
• Escalate unresolved, complex, sensitive, or grievance matters.
• Facilitate translation or interpretation services for non-English-speaking customers.
