Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Networks is seeking a Chef/Production Manager to coordinate food preparation and presentation in the Nutrition Services Department. You will supervise production staff, train teams, and collaborate with the NSD to manage food and labor costs while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or at least 1 year as a sous chef, healthcare experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Culinary Arts or minimum 1 year sous chef experience under a Certified Chef.
• One year healthcare experience or familiarity with therapeutic diets.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Certified Food Service Manager preferred; computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day food production operations.
• Trains and supervises production staff.
• Plans and directs catering events and meals.
• Ensures HACCP compliance and sanitation standards.
