Job summary

Culinary Services Group (CSG) is seeking a Kitchen/Production Manager for a healthcare facility. As Production Manager you will plan, direct and coordinate kitchen activities to prepare and deliver finished foods to serving areas efficiently and on time.

Lead and develop staff, manage inventories, schedule production, enforce recipes and food safety, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. We offer a collaborative culture with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of retirement or adult home/care experience preferred.
• Inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• High-volume food production experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate kitchen activities to prepare and deliver finished foods.
• Ensure proper portioning and standardized recipes.
• Order and receive food and nonfood items.
• Verify quantities for tray line and complete daily records.
• Train, manage and develop staff.
• Maintain weekly production schedules and master cycle menu.
• Monitor labeling and food safety records.
• Enforce federal, state, and local regulations.
• Schedule maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to company policies.
