Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–2 years credentialing or enrollment experience in healthcare
• Familiarity with healthcare operations or regulatory environments preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow established procedures and escalate issues appropriately

Responsibilities

• Initiate credentialing for new hires and distribute packets
• Track submission of credentialing materials and follow up with providers
• Perform primary source verification of licenses and certifications
• Assist in preparation of delineation of privileges documentation
• Compile credentialing files for review by the Credentialing Manager and Medical Director
• Support materials for Credentials Committee and draft meeting minutes
• Assist with scheduling Credentials Committee meetings
• Support enrollment of providers with Medicaid, Medicare and other payors
• Prepare and submit enrollment applications and track status with payors
• Maintain documentation related to delegated credentialing arrangements
• Monitor re-credentialing timelines and assist with materials
• Prepare re-credentialing files for internal review and committee submission
• Escalate complex credentialing issues to the Credentialing Manager
• Create/update provider profiles in CAQH and other databases
• Maintain provider data across credentialing systems
• Assist with routine reports on credentialing and enrollment activity
