Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Courier II to transport items across the Medical Center and HUMC facilities, providing patient escort and equipment movement as needed. The position involves lifting and moving heavy loads, daily pantry duties, and coordinating with Nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License from a USA state.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers materials to departments across HUMC facilities.
• Transports patient records, chemotherapy, and other materials safely per policy.
• Escort patients and transport to inpatient units and imaging areas as needed.
• Handle and move equipment and supplies between satellite sites and Medical Center.
• Check refrigerator temperatures and report discrepancies per policy.
• Deliver blood products, lab specimens, and specimens to NNJCA lab as required.
• Provide laundry and pantry service as part of daily operations.
