Qualifications

• J.D. required and Louisiana Bar admission within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of two years’ experience practicing law.
• Experience in insurance or healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience in corporate law including governance, regulatory filings, contracts, privacy, and litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal services across governance, regulatory filings, contracts, employment, privacy, and litigation.
• Advise senior management on legal implications of corporate strategies.
• Draft, edit, and analyze legal documents and participate in regulatory processes.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and disputes.
• Promote ethical and professional practice and interact with bar and judiciary.
