Job summary

CareSource is seeking a Manager of Finance - Cost Reporting to lead the cost reporting function within the finance department. The role ensures accurate data, prepares detailed cost reports, analyzes financial information, and supports strategic planning and decision making.

Collaborating across departments, the role improves reporting systems, ensures regulatory compliance, and communicates complex data to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• MBA preferred
• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education
• Four (4) - Five (5) years healthcare finance or reimbursement with significant exposure to Medicaid cost reporting required
• Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and analysis of cost reports ensuring accuracy.
• Analyze cost data to identify trends and opportunities to improve reimbursement outcomes.
• Support implementation of internal reporting systems to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in financial reporting.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline cost reporting procedures.
• Communicate complex financial data clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of financial expertise.
• Assist in implementing strategic plans set forth by senior management with a focus on cost reporting.
• Prepare management reports and presentations summarizing cost report findings and reimbursement impacts.
• Perform any other job related duties as requested.
