Professional Staffing Services Group Inc. is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager, Decision Support, onsite in the Dover, DE area. The Senior Manager will oversee the cost accounting system, lead decision support, and manage reporting to external rating agencies.

The role drives profitability analyses, strategic planning, and rolling forecast maintenance. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in healthcare cost accounting/decision support, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and hands-on STRATA

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
10+ years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and/or decision support in healthcare.
Hands-on experience with STRATA financial software (including STRATA Jazz) or equivalent healthcare financial management system.

Responsibilities

Develop financial feasibility, cost, and reimbursement templates using STRATA software.
Publish monthly service line P&L statements and physician performance scorecards.
Lead routine profitability reviews with executive leadership and drive corrective actions for variances.
Oversee decision support software implementations, including STRATA rolling forecast module.
Mentor the Supervisor of Decision Support and Special Projects Analysts.
Provide data-driven analysis to support labor utilization, budgeting and financial decisions.
