Job summary

Capitol Park, part of Acadia Healthcare, seeks a dependable Cook for our Dietary Services team. You will prepare nutritious meals, support a positive dining experience, and uphold food safety in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Shift: Weekdays 10:00am–6:30pm with rotating weekends. Pay: $19.00–$23.00 per hour. Candidates should be organized, reliable, and able to work independently while collaborating with a hospital dietitian and kitchen leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Culinary training preferred
• Two+ years in institutional food service preferred

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food according to menus
• Direct activities of workers assisting in meals
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment and areas for cleanliness
• Take inventory of supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with Food Service leadership or Dietitian on menus
• Coordinate production, cleaning, maintenance, and inventory control
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, cost parameters and regulations
