Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a Controller to assist the CFO in daily financial operations, including month-end close reviews, KPI monitoring, and oversight of revenue cycle and supply chain. It supports GAAP-compliant books and annual budgets, with training and process improvements for department leaders.

The Controller oversees Shared Services, Lab, and GME entities, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely audits, while maintaining strong cross-department

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• 2–5 years experience, preferably in healthcare.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient use of Excel; PowerBI a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CFO in maintaining financial records and month-end close.
• Prepare reconciliations for bank, balance sheet, and income accounts.
• Prepare book analysis for management and corporate review.
• Complete quarterly Audit Pack in a timely manner.
• Monitor revenue cycle and supply chain operations.
• Oversee Shared Services, Lab and GME entities.
