Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking a Contract Manager to negotiate and manage managed care agreements for our provider network, covering FFS and value-based care arrangements. You will serve as a key liaison between the organization, health plan partners, and internal teams.

The role requires experience in payer negotiations, contract implementation, and performance monitoring, with strong reimbursement knowledge and Excel proficiency. Hybrid work in office environments will be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in managed care contracting or related field.
• Experience negotiating value-based and fee-for-service arrangements with health plans.
• Strong understanding of provider reimbursement methodologies for commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid.
• Ability to interpret complex contractual language and assess financial impact.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate new agreements, renewals, amendments, and reimbursement changes with health plan partners.
• Negotiate fee-for-service reimbursement—physician schedules and % of Medicare where relevant.
• Evaluate payer proposals and determine financial and operational impact.
• Develop negotiation positions using reimbursement data and market information.
• Collaborate with Finance, Analytics, Quality, Population Health, and operations teams.
• Coordinate contract implementation and resolve operational issues affecting performance.
• Maintain organized records of agreements, amendments, and fee schedules.
