Job summary

SES Electrical LLC in Knoxville, TN, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers by coordinating cost, schedule, and document control to meet quality standards. The role involves learning all aspects of construction under the Project Manager's guidance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in construction, a related Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with ProCore, Primavera, and MS Office. The position reports to the Knoxville office and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in construction preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related field is a plus.
• Experience with Defense Health Agency (DHA) is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare alteration and construction projects.
• Familiarity with Infection Control Risk Assessments and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update work plans.
• Assist with project budgets, scheduling and submittal processing.
• Support the Project Manager in all phases of the project.
• Understand project drawings and specifications.
• Review owner contracts and terms.
• Support field staff.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Identify and resolve scope conflicts.
• Prepare materials for meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Create project plans and documentation including safety and quality plans.
