Job summary

SES Electrical LLC in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating field and office activities. You will work under the Project Manager to develop and maintain project plans, documents, and communications with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires 3-5 years of construction experience, a Bachelor's in engineering or construction, and proficiency with ProCore, Primavera P6, RMS/eCMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare alteration and construction projects.
• Familiarity with Infection Control Risk Assessments and Interim Life Safety Measures.
• Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
• Basic Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update work plans.
• Assist with project budgets, scheduling and submittal processing.
• Assist the Project Manager in all phases of the project.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Develop project schedules and safety/quality plans.
• Prepare materials for client, internal, and subcontractor meetings.
• Assist with subcontractor outreach and bid preparation.
