Emerging Tech is hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead renovation, capital improvement, and infrastructure projects at the Montrose VA Medical Center in Montrose, NY. The role demands delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while complying with VA standards and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of healthcare/federal construction experience, excels in budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management, and can operate onsite at the facility.

Competenze

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain favorable federal background clearance
• Minimum of eight years of construction project management experience
• Experience managing federal healthcare/construction projects
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgets, schedules, and contract administration
• Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods

Mansioni

• Lead projects from planning through closeout, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and resource plans
• Monitor performance to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety goals
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure contract compliance
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay apps, and project documentation
• Coordinate with VA leadership, architects, engineers, contractors, inspectors, and stakeholders
• Conduct site visits, progress meetings, and inspections to monitor quality and safety
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect objectives
• Prepare executive status reports, budget updates, and cost analyses
• Support turnover and final closeout activities
• Minimize disruptions to patient care in an occupied facility
• Maintain complete project documentation and VA/compliance records
