Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital seeks a Director of Construction to oversee planning, procurement, subcontracting and scheduling for large-scale projects. You will manage project teams across two campuses and 31 off-site locations, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and safety programs.

The role requires 7–10 years in project/construction management, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. A Bachelor’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree; preferably in Construction Management or Business, or related field in related discipline.
• 7-10 years of project or construction management.
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite applications.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction activities including planning, materials purchasing, subcontracting, project management, status reporting, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors and hospital leaders to advance projects and ensure effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, code requirements, infection control standards, life safety protocols, and safety programs.
• Lead and develop a team across two campuses and 31 off-site locations.
