Nemours Children’s Health – Delaware
Reporting to: VP, Transformation & Improvement / AVP, Project Management

Nemours Children’s Health is entering one of the most transformative periods in our history, fueled by the strength of the Nemours Foundation and our long record of financial stability. As we expand programs and facilities to serve the healthiest generation of children, we are investing in our people — professionals who flourish in a collaborative culture, persevere through challenges, and want to be part of a story of growth.

You will directly influence the success of our multi-year growth strategy and ensure that every project supports the next chapter of Nemours Children’s excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and review construction documentation, drawings, and specifications; enforce compliance with healthcare codes and standards (NFPA 99, FGI, NFPA 101).
  • Maintain ICRA standards and collaborate closely with Safety and Infection Control.
  • Evaluate design documents for material standards, cost savings, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates; present to senior leadership as needed.
  • Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance construction processes, team performance, and institutional goals.
  • Participate in hiring, staffing, coaching, and performance evaluations aligned with Nemours Children’s commitment to cultivating a healthy, thriving workforce.
  • Engage in department and institutional committees, projects, and educational initiatives to stay current with trends in healthcare construction.
