Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support healthcare construction projects on-site in Chicago. You will assist with planning, scheduling, budgets, and coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality facilities.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in healthcare project management, a related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in construction project management in healthcare or similar environments.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and building codes (HIPAA, ADA, FGI Guidelines).
• Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare construction projects.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Monitor progress and report on key metrics to management and clients.
• Prepare project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Conduct site visits to ensure safety and quality standards.
