Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Construction to oversee complex healthcare projects from inception to completion in Chicago and surrounding sites. You will lead multi-project delivery, manage schedules, budgets, risk, and stakeholder coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

Responsibilities include procurement oversight, contract negotiation, weekly site visits, quality control, and mentoring junior staff while staying current with industry trends and healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of healthcare construction project management experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with procurement, contracting, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple healthcare construction projects simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
• Oversee procurement, contractor selection, and contracts.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct weekly site visits and provide field reports.
• Present weekly project status reports to client and senior management.
• Mentor junior project managers and stay current with industry trends.
