Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Compliance Program Manager to support the Hospital Compliance Department. Under senior leadership, you will implement the systemwide compliance program, educate teammates, conduct audits, and monitor ongoing risks.

You will also develop policy guidelines and coordinate governance meetings. You will lead training, mitigate risks, and collaborate with Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management, and other teams to improve the program.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Health care compliance certification required within two years (e.g., CHC; CHPC; CPC).
• Experience in healthcare, audit, coding, revenue cycle, legal, privacy, regulatory compliance or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day operations of UNC Health’s Hospital/Physician Compliance program.
• Develops and monitors compliance initiatives to meet regulatory standards.
• Promotes adherence to federal and state laws and UNC Health policies.
• Oversees policy development and maintenance to support regulatory compliance.
• Designs and manages training programs for teammates on compliance topics.
• Coordinates education for leadership, clinical teammates, and other departments.
