Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Nursing or related field.
• Relevant professional credential(s) or coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, etc.) within eighteen (18) months from date of hire.
• Eight (8) years of health care compliance, revenue cycle, nursing or other directly related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Auditing and monitoring: participate in annual risk assessment and assist with audit and monitoring work plans; analyze data and report findings with recommendations.
• Research and analysis: stay current on laws, policies, CMS guidance, and identify weaknesses; gather materials and interview internal experts.
• Investigations: lead investigations of violations and EthicsPoint cases; work with leaders to implement corrective actions.
• Building relationships: develop relationships with teammates and external stakeholders; provide guidance on standards and best practices.
• Professional development: deepen understanding of healthcare reimbursement, data analysis, and training delivery.
• Special projects: lead RAC audits and other external requests; prepare policies and training materials.
