Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS seeks a Manager of Integrity and Compliance to lead the enterprise-wide compliance program. You will design, implement and refine initiatives, policies and education to assure regulatory and accreditation standards are met across the organization.

You will supervise training, investigate potential non-compliance, and collaborate with leaders to reduce risk while maintaining cost effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Law or related field.
• 3 years healthcare experience as a compliance officer, manager or related position.
• 2 years experience with incident or event investigation.
• Preferred: management experience in compliance programs, billing and coding auditing, HIPAA, False Claims Act, Stark laws.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain corporate compliance policies and practices across Stormont Vail Health.
• Orient and train leaders to ensure compliance with policies and applicable laws.
• Supervise compliance training in CMS billing, coding requirements, Stark, Anti-kickback, HIPAA and related state laws.
• Review and investigate non-compliance allegations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead development of organization-wide compliance program with annual goals and metrics.
• Monitor program budget and conduct performance assessments against benchmarks.
• Ensure audits, reviews and assessments meet federal, state and accreditation standards.
• Travel up to 10% to Stormont Vail Health worksites as needed.
