BayCare Health System seeks a Communications Coordinator for BayCare Hospital Manatee to support communications for hospital initiatives and the expansion of BayCare in Manatee County. You will develop content for press releases, team communications, executive announcements, social media, and events, coordinating with leaders and subject matter experts.

The role involves media relations support, fact-checking, and on-call duties in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of communications, journalism, public relations, or corporate communications experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience with media relations.
• Photography and videography skills.

Mansioni

• Develop and coordinate content for press releases, team member communications, executive announcements, social media, reports, meetings, events, and other channels.
• Partner with BayCare leaders, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to craft clear communications for internal and external audiences.
• Support media relations activities, including message preparation and spokesperson support.
• Fact-check content, secure approvals, support issue management, and monitor metrics.
• Participate in rotating 24-hour on-call media relations schedule.
