Job Title: Healthcare Communications Proofreader

Location: Fully Remote (Flexible with time zones)

Contract: 6+ Months

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Marketing Communications Analyst / Proofreader to join our Regulated Markets team. In this fully remote role, you will support the production of Medicare Part D member-facing materials by ensuring all communication content complies with CMS regulations, client specifications, and internal standards.

You will collaborate closely with Member Experience Managers, Marketing Operations Managers, and the Proofreading team to deliver high-quality, accurate, and compliant communications to members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proofread high volumes of member-facing materials related to Medicare Part D prescription drug plans.
• Verify materials for accuracy, correct verbiage, grammar, plan design details, branding/logo usage, and CMS/client compliance.
• Use Microsoft Word (Track Changes) and Adobe Acrobat (Commenting tools) to suggest edits and corrections.
• Reference backup materials and style guides to ensure all documents meet expected standards.
• Collaborate with the Proofreading Team Lead to prioritize daily workloads, resolve timing conflicts, and address discrepancies in content.
• Communicate with Communication Owners to clarify content requirements and resolve inconsistencies.
• Follow established proofreading procedures and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Route completed communications back to Workflow Managers on time and in compliance with routing protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of professional proofreading or communications experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
• Proficiency in English – reading, writing, and editing.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience working with content management systems and various web-based platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) guidelines.
• Prior work in fast-paced, high-volume environments with shifting priorities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully digital setting.
