Key Responsibilities

• Learn and apply understanding of plan design elements to proofread member materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Proofread electronically a high volume of member-facing materials related to Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, following specified instructions.
• Use Microsoft Word track changes and Adobe Acrobat comments to check for grammar, sense, and adherence to backup materials.
• Apply internal style guides to meet quality standards, collaborating with the Proofreading Team Lead for style questions and feedback.
• Manage assigned projects according to daily priorities and updates, ensuring timely completion.
• Coordinate with the Proofreading Team Lead and Communication Owner to resolve questions, discrepancies, and timing conflicts.

Minimum Requirements and Technology Skills

• 3-4 years of communications proofreading experience.
• Proficiency in proofreading high volumes of Medicare Part D member materials.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to follow documented processes and work under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and meticulous work approach.
• Experience with content management systems, CMS, Medicaid, and web-based tools is a plus.
