• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in revenue management, accounting, or related field.
• 1–2 years of healthcare collections experience.
• Intermediate MS Office (Word & Excel) skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Submit claims to insurance companies and monitor accounts receivable.
• Contact insurers to investigate unpaid claims and secure payment.
• Document collection activities and account resolutions.
• Review reports to identify accounts needing follow-up.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues.
• Prepare written appeals and supporting documentation for denied claims.
• Assist patients with inquiries and provide professional service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Office Director.
