Job summary

Family Care Network in Bellingham, WA seeks a Coding Compliance Specialist to support staff and clinicians with coding and documentation, monitor coding reviews, and perform internal chart audits.

The role is full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday–Friday, non-exempt (hourly), with compensation of $25.75-$35.45 per hour. Comprehensive benefits include health plans, PTO/PSL, retirement options and more.

Qualifications

• Exposure to healthcare coding and billing processes.
• Experience with chart audits and coding feedback.
• Ability to interact with physicians, APPs, managers and billing staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chart audits to support coding accuracy.
• Research coding errors and identify trends.
• Answer coding questions from clinicians and staff.
• Develop coding and billing training plans for providers and staff.
• Ensure charge entry aligns with FCN policies.
• Process billings per insurer requirements.
• Maintain punctual attendance and communicate questions promptly.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
