Family Care Network seeks a Coding Compliance Specialist to support clinicians with coding and documentation requirements. You will monitor coding review desks and perform internal chart audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires healthcare coding and billing experience, knowledge of ICD/CPT, and HIPAA confidentiality. AAPC or AHIMA coding certification is required. Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, non-exempt (hourly) with compensation within the stated wage scale.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification required.
• Experience in healthcare coding and medical billing.
• Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Conduct chart audits for documentation changes to support coding.
• Research coding errors and identify trends for process improvements.
• Monitor coding review desk to answer coding questions from staff.
• Assist in developing coding and billing training plans for providers and staff.
• Process billings in accordance with insurance carrier requirements.
• Adhere to scheduled work hours and perform other duties as assigned.
