Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Audit and Coding Consultant to lead coding quality audits, develop education materials for providers and coders, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in a hybrid, day-shift role in Phoenix, AZ.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, review new codes, and design training programs to improve reimbursement accuracy and documentation quality across the Revenue Cycle. Associates or 2 years' experience are required; Bachelor's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or 2 years' related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years Revenue Cycle experience required.
• 3 years Professional Coding experience required.
• 5 years coding leadership experience preferred.
• CCAP and CPC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and coding quality audits and education material development.
• Educate providers and coders on coding/documentation guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and revise processes as needed.
