Applicants should possess at least an Associate’s Degree, a minimum of five years of relevant coding experience, and a valid credential from recognized accrediting bodies. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with 3M software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a coding program is required.
• At least five years of coding experience in professional and hospital services.
• Valid credential from AHIMA or AAPC is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform coding education and audit for various services.
• Train new Coding Specialists and Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and protocols.
