Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Architect to lead a major healthcare modernization and migration program in St. Louis with remote work options. You will set modernization strategies, evaluate readiness, and guide teams through secure, compliant migrations across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will define standards for HIPAA/HITRUST, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide hands-on architectural leadership throughout the migration lifecycle.

Qualifications

• IT architecture experience with healthcare provider environments.
• Experience modernizing legacy apps and leading large migrations to cloud.
• Strong communication and leadership to guide diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization across clinical and business applications in the healthcare ecosystem.
• Develop upgrade roadmaps for OS, databases, and middleware.
• Oversee end-to-end migration to data centers and cloud (IaaS/PaaS).
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Clinical IT teams.
• Define cloud migration approaches including lift-and-shift and replatforming.
