Everforth Apex Systems in St. Louis (Remote) seeks an Oncology Specialist to implement cloud strategies for oncology applications and support data-driven cancer care.

You will work with oncology clinicians and IT teams to optimize EMR workflows and analytics, delivering insights across multiple platforms. This role requires expertise in oncology workflows and data integration, with a focus on interoperability standards (USCDI, FHIR) and cross-functional collaboration to improve care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in oncology clinical workflows, EMRs, and cancer registry data.
• Ability to work in high-stakes clinical environments with multiple priorities and minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Varian and Elekta cloud strategies in Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology.
• Familiarity with oncology applications and the ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a quality consultant and subject matter expert for oncology applications and cloud strategy.
• Collaborate with technical teams on root-cause analyses and oncology cloud initiatives.
• Engage with oncology service line leaders to assess capabilities and define future-state solutions.
• Design and implement data integration projects supporting oncology teams and research.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and align with cancer care goals.
• Maintain knowledge of oncology practices and interoperability standards (USCDI, FHIR) to inform analytics.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance analytics value.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure delivery on time and within scope.
• Escalate issues to leadership and propose actionable solutions.
