Job summary

South Texas Health System Clinics (STHS Clinics) is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our network. You will lead scheduling, registrations, billing support, medical records, and compliance while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care within regulatory standards.

In this role, you will coach staff, coordinate with providers, implement policies, and drive efficiency across all clinic activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of degree, 5-7 years healthcare experience with at least two years in a supervisor capacity.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferable in a healthcare environment
• CMPE certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage all practice activities including patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, cash posting, clinic certifications and licenses, required education, inventory and resource utilization.
• Ensure smooth, accurate, efficient, safe, high quality, compliant, productive operations of assigned medical practices in accordance with state, federal and local regulations and requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures. Uphold IPM and UHS policies, goals and standards.
• Facilitate consistent and productive formal and informal communication and practice rounding with all practice personnel, including providers.
