Job summary

MHC Healthcare is seeking a Medical Clinic General Maintenance Worker to join the facilities team at the Marana Main Health Center in Marana, AZ. This role ensures a safe, functional healthcare environment by performing a range of maintenance and repair activities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school or trade school diploma, 3 years of relevant experience, and a valid Arizona driver’s license, plus BLS certification within one month of start.

Qualifications

• High school or trade school graduate or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant experience such as construction, service technician, or building maintenance.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of insurance.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within 1 month of start date.
• OSHA 10/30 training and First Aid certification preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Works within the maintenance team to provide a safe, clean and healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Maintains, cleans, performs minor repairs, and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Repairs plumbing and electrical issues and maintains medical gas lines and vacuum systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on fire life safety systems and general repairs as needed.
• Maintains accurate records and completes work orders promptly.
• Responds to emergency calls and coordinates with staff to minimize downtime.
