The role requires proactive management of inventory, purchasing, vendor relations, and cost control within a skilled nursing environment, collaborating closely with nursing leadership and other departments.

Formación

• Experience in central supply or inventory management in healthcare settings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple requests.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and oversee central supply inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, tracking, and distributing supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and organize, label, and access supplies.
• Monitor PAR levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through usage trends and vendor negotiations.
• Communicate supply needs and issues to nursing leadership and facility management.
• Coordinate with departments to understand supply needs and ensure timely availability.
• Maintain organized central supply area and efficient processes for deliveries and audits.
• Develop relationships with vendors and oversee purchase orders and deliveries.
