Job summary

Midland Health is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee the café/retail foodservice area within the F. Marie Hall facility. You will supervise front-of-house staff, coordinate breakfast production, ensure high-quality food, and deliver excellent service to staff, visitors, and patients.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will maintain food safety standards, manage inventory, and enforce HACCP and local health regulations while fostering a welcoming, professional café environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of food service supervision experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification and allergen awareness training required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cash handling policies are followed and deposits balanced.
• Supervise FMHOC staff and coordinate training.
• Prepare breakfast production and maintain standard menus.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming café environment.
• Ensure HACCP records are complete and available for audits.
• Respond professionally to customer feedback and requests.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and waste minimization.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and guidelines.
