Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Retail Manager to lead the on-site cafes at a large healthcare facility. The role oversees 4 cafes/bistros, with 800-900 daily transactions and close to $2M in annual sales.

You will supervise 8-10 associates, manage budgets, forecasting and reporting, and drive new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams. Strong leadership and cost-control expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of culinary leadership or kitchen management experience.
• Supervisory experience in healthcare, senior living, education, or related environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls and presentation.
• Leadership, management and coaching skills with strong communication.
• Financial, budgeting and accounting skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks for the retail program.
• Manages staff of 8-10 associates and scheduling.
• Develops budgets, forecasts and financial reporting for the account.
• Maintains knowledge of market trends and cost controls.
• Oversees sanitation and safety of assigned units and inventory purchases.
• Rolls out new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams.
• Acts as direct liaison with the client.
