Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Retail Manager to lead the operation of a food service facility in a healthcare setting. You will oversee daily tasks, staff management, budgeting, and program rollouts while ensuring customer satisfaction and safe, efficient use of resources.

The role requires supervisory experience in food service, knowledge of retail trends, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred or A.A. degree with related experience.
• Three+ years of supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, retirement or related environment desirable.
• Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Strong leadership, management and coaching abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in financial, budgeting, accounting and calculations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Handles staff management across the operation.
• Manages budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Maintains knowledge of market trends and customer needs.
• Controls costs and expenditures for the account.
• Oversees sanitation and safety of assigned units.
• Purchases and manages inventory.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Acts as the direct liaison with the client.
