Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Retail Cafe Manager to lead the daily operation of our healthcare cafeteria. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure excellent patient and staff experiences while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.

Ideal candidates have a culinary degree (or AA with related experience) and at least three years of supervisory food service experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three or more years supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends, including food cost controls and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Handles all aspects of staff management.
• Manages all financials including budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Maintains knowledge of the marketplace and trends.
• Manages cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Oversees sanitation and safety of assigned unit(s).
• Purchases and manages inventory.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with Company marketing and culinary team.
• Acts as the direct liaison with the client.
