Job summary

Cottonwood Springs, a Lifepoint Health hospital in Olathe, KS, seeks a Business Development Representative to implement the hospital's BD plan and cultivate referral sources. You will coordinate admissions and work with the BD Director to expand community relationships.

The role involves participating in BD meetings, planning outreach events, and maintaining budgets while delivering high-quality customer service to referral sources and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred.
• Previous business development experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report and insure own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts effectively.
• Identify and cultivate new referral sources.
• Coordinate admissions with intake, business office, MD and case management.
• Participate in BD team and sub-committee meetings.
• Develop monthly/quarterly BD plans for accounts.
• Participate in community meetings and marketing events.
• Assist in budget maintenance and cost-saving recommendations.
• Keep referral sources informed of program changes.
